The summer after my sophomore year, I interned with Bureau Gravity, a marketing agency in Aurora, IL.
At my internship I redesigned client websites, wrote and tested Javascript tools that scraped data for a site migration, prototyped a dynamic directory using Vue, PHP, and Wordpress. I also prototyped and fully redesigned the Bureau Gravity website. Additional internship tasks included commercial photography projects, and graphic design.
My biggest contribution during my internship was fully reimagining the Bureau Gravity website. I spent a majority of my internship designing and testing this website.
A client website I redesigned and presented on was the University of Illinois Landscape Architecture department website, which incorporated Webflow's dynamic CMS system for their blog as well as custom javascript animations.

Two major events, TECHVIBE and TECHWAVE took place at Bureau Gravity. With special guests, JB Pritzker (governor of Illinois) and Richard C Irvin (mayor of Aurora) in attendance, it was important to capture the energy of the events for Bureau Gravity to use in future promotional material.
While Bureau Gravity worked to create commercial work for their clients, I took photos of the work itself to make photos Bureau Gravity could use to sell their services.
